Megan's Story
After graduation I came home to California. I got an Associate's Degree in Science at Santa Rosa Junior College (Northern CA. Sonoma County) in 1983. In 1985, I joined the US Navy and served as a aviation machinists mate from 1985-1993. I served in Rota, Spain and Sembach, Germany during Desert Storm. lia in 2002 and won a bronze medal in swimming for a 4 X 4 - 50 meter relay. In Chicago in 2006, I won a silver medal in the 10K open water swim in Lake Michigan and a bronze medal in the 100 meter back stroke. I am a deejay at a local radio station KGGVfm.org and I make documentary videos. I live in a small town called Guerneville in the redwoods and I am really close to the ocean. I am a birder and listen to a lot of great music.
