Megan's Story
Life
I have done a little moving around- starting with Louisanna (down in the bayou!) It was like being in a differant world! (I only lasted there 8 months) It was really like stepping back in time.. So, I had moved back to Minnesota for a few years. Then, a good friend moved to Arizona and I decided to try something new! I met a guy very soon after moving here and became pregnent five months later. Well, he left me as soon as he found out (Nice guy huh? Anyway who needs men?) My son Zackay Legend-Kye was born in Feb. 2000. I then moved to California in 2001 with another friend and had a BLAST! (I know now that I am a California girl at heart!) I lived up on a mtn. in Rancho Cucamonga. It was beautiful! We sure lived it up out there! My friend had to move back to Arizona suddenly and I ended up moving back to Minnesota for a little while. My son Zackary LOVED the snow- his mommy however did not! Accually the snow was not so bad, it was the COLD! (why anyone lives in a place where it gets to 50 below windchill- I don't know!) So, we stayed a little over a year and I told my whole family "I love you but I gotta go back t...Expand for more
o Arizona!" When I got back down here I became an Assistant Director at a preschool center. My son loved going to work with me every day! Almost two years after that, I recieved a promotion to be a Director and run my own center. It was a great job but with it came a lot of responsibility and a lot of stress! So after only about 9 months, I quit. I just decided the stress was not worth it and I needed more time to spend with my son. And after working in the childcare field for about 11 years, I thought it would be nice to try something different. I am now working for Realty Executives and I LOVE it!
My son Zackary is going into 3rd grade this year and is doing great! We have a lot of fun together - hanging out, camping, bike riding, going shooting (he only has a BB gun right now - but getting ready for a 22!) playing Wii, etc... I am still single- suprise, suprise. Just haven't found "the one" yet - and I refuse to settle!!! So, that is about it for me right now! Just working, spending time with my son, taking trips to California and to Vegas, and hanging out with friends!
