Mel's Story
Have been very fortunate in in life, have a beautiful wife, daughter, son in law, and 2 grandsons who are a lot smarter than me. Lived in Coral Gables, Florida for most of my life and have had second home in Jackson Hole since 2005.
I was in the Commercial Insurance Agency business which we sold to Wells Fargo in 1997.
Finally retired in 2009 and moved to Naples, Florida.
Took up Fly Fishing many years ago, In addition to fishing in the Rocky Mountain states, have done many trips to Patagonia areas of Argentina and Chile. Unfortunately the only JHS people I have seen in the last 40 years are Bob Latzo, Carol Latzo and Annett (spelling) Pepe. Bob had an RV and spent some summers in the Star Valley of Wy..
Saw Carol when Bob was visiting her in Naples.
We were in fishing Basalt, Colorado many years ago and Annett walked into the Bar where we were eating. Recognized her immediately. Annett and her husband have raised a lot of money for a charity in Colorado.
In 2020 we were going to take our grandsons for college tour at Princeton. I contacted Allan Brown and we were going to meet Allan and Ann Barrett for lunch. Unfortunately the Pandemic arrived and we had to cancel. Hope we get another opportunity.
