Melanie's Story
I practiced law for 25 years in various capacities but most involving complex commercial litigation, contracts,construction and eminent domain. Spent a few years representing state transportation agencies trouble shooting infrastructure projects [roads, bridges, etc.] handling high profile litigation and acquiring property to advance those projects. In search of a better lifestyle I now consult on similar issues: contracts, ROW, construction, condemnation and energy projects.
Along the way I've spent time skiing, some (but not enough)traveling, I play golf passably, and pool competitively. ...Expand for more
I love to cook and I can find my way around a wine list but have also spent my share of time in honky tonk bars and pool halls. My friends range from bikers to musicians to bankers/ lobbyists/ politicans with any number in between. I simply enjoy interesting people and believe being dull to be a sin. [Not so different from the way I was in high school I suppose. <g>]
Turned out kids weren't an option but dogs and cats were. I favor big crash bang dogs, especially Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. My cats have always seemed to find me. I reside with 1 canine and 2 felines in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
