College
I didnt go away to college....BIG MISTAKE! I think the experience of going away to college would have be better for me and made me more independent sooner than later. Plus, I think that is an experience that everyone going to college should have.
Workplace
My very first job was at Baskin Robbins...that lasted three days. Need I say more? My next job was right after I graduated from high school was with a Temp agency. I finally got a lasting job where I worked at Home Insurnace Co. where I worked as a senior forms analyist. It was ok, but my brother wanted me to live in VA with him so I was planning to leave my job to move there with him for more money. NYCTA called me for a job and I decided to stick it out. And thats where I have been for the last 20yrs. Working as a train operator. I am now trying to start my own business in African art & Sculptures. I want that to be an internet business only so I cant be tied down and travel where ever I want and still work.
