Melanie's Story
Life
Married and living in a small beach community on the Potomac River in VA. We have a tile installation company, which keeps us busy. Sons, Paul and Nick are involved in the business and youngest Julie works closeby.
Wound up realizing later in life that I could sing...although I did sing once at Northeast when I was stunned to be nominated for "Miss Northeast" This was crazy for someone never involved with any school activities...ever. ong drag off a cigarette in the "smoking" area, I remember thinking I was in big trouble. Good friend and guitarist Richie Zembower (remember him?) helped me out at the time. We did "It's Too Late, Baby" by Carol King. Never sang again for almost 30 years.
Today, I lead worship reguarly and sing in other churches occasionally (sometimes w/husband sax player)Also lead women's ministies at churches, reatreats and even at the local jail. All of which, I absolutely love.
