Melanie's Story
It's amazing how time has flown by. My classmates are all turning 50 this year and I hope to be one of the last. I'm still in California, Sacramento area, but miss Eureka and hope one day to return/retire there. Still have family there so get to visit quite often. I have been married twice and have been with my current husband for over 20 years. I couldn't have children of my own, so we adopted twins, a girl, Tara, and boy, Tyler, from Guatemala in 1995. I have a sign shop out of my home, thanks to my best friend Debbie Nix who got me started. I also work part time as a Consultant for the State of California, as well as raising Schipperke's and Minature Australian Shepherds so I stay really busy. We have a small ranch, so have continued with my passion of loving horses. My life is VERY full, but all in all I feel so blessed with life, family, friends and career choices. Life is good.
