Melanie's Story
after graduation I went to work for Phillips in KCMO. My roomate introduced me to my husband who was stationed at Richards Gebaur AFB. We had our first son there. David was shipped off to Nam when our son was 9 months. We moved back to Bville while he was gone. After that we moved to Dyess afb, Texas for 2 years. He then was sent out to Karamursel, Turkey. He later sent for us to join him. We were there for 2 years and he got out in Pennsylvania. We moved back to Bville and David went to work for Phillips. Our 2nd son was born in 1978. rked a few places until my Fibromyalgia started. I stayed home and took care of things. We have 12 grandkids and they keep us busy. After Mom and Dad passed away we moved into their house. He had planted lots of flowers and bushes that are now blooming.Lots of my neighbors I grew up with and are good company. David works for Sitel now and I stay at home with my 2 kitties. one brother and his family live here and the other one lives out by Copan lake. Our sons live here also.
Hope old friends remember me as a friendly person on the shy side.
