More about Melanie:"My name is Melanie Watson and I am 51 years old. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and work taking care of developmentally disabled folks. I am an ordained pastor through Rose Ministries and perform weddings, baptisms and funerals. I used to hold an online church service which I would love to start up again when I can get Sundays free again to do so.
I am a singer/songwriter and have written approx. 120 songs. I have four cd's published and I sing in nursing homes, assisted living centers, centers for the disabled, for wolf benefits, blessings for the animals, Pikes Peak Hospice, and all over the state of Colorado for fairs and other special events.

I don't have a favorite anything. I love just about everything, but what I dislike are people who are haters. I do not care to be around those who are hypocrites and those who judge others unfairly and unjustly. Those who harbor hate in their hearts and know nothing of forgiveness need to learn and we NEED TO BE TEACHERS by setting positive examples!!!
My career has been a wild mix consisting of being the General Manager of a Godfather's Pizza, Wendy's, Little Caesar's Pizza, owning my own restaurant called, "THE RED ROOSTER". I was a Para-Educator for the Pre-school and Special Ed. Dept in the Teller County School District, ,a Life Skills Worker for The Southern Peaks Regional Treatment Center (criminal teen facility in Canon City) , a Certified Nurses Aide, Ran Mel's Munchkins Licensed Childcare for 12 years, a Visitor Experience Guide for the Rocky Mt. Dinosaur Resource Center, A Team Leader and Residential Support Assistant for Community Options in Montrose, a Behavioral Therapist for the Developmentally Disabled community in Moscow, Idaho, and now a Residential Living Specialist for Carmel Community Living Corporation.
My dreams are to travel around the world, learning about people and their cultures, to get my books and my music selling well in the market, to be able to have enough money to travel to meet as many people as I possibly can, to swim as much water, to fly as many skies, and hike as many mountains as possible before I leave this earth.".
