Melanie's Story
Life
Since 2003 I have been disabled because of Fibromyalgia. In Nov. 2005, I slipped down 2 stairs and broke my leg. My daughter and I live with my mother and my son is doing great. He is in his 4th year at Ohio State, and I think he might be a career student, even though I miss him so. 12/17/07 UPDATE: Adam is still at school and now is 5th year. I still have this terrible thing called Fibromyalgia. And Sarah is in her "preteens" and we all know what that means. She will be 12 in January. Time flies. Seems like they were just babies.
02/23/08 UPDATE: I am working on going back to school, online. Want to take insurance billing, won't be a far cry from my life experiences, so should be easy enough. 02/21/09 UPDATE: I am in school online from Sinclair. Have been flittering between two majors, accounting or medical billing. Taking 2 classes right now, it's midterm and I feel overloaded. My daughter has been sick this week and me not so well either. Forever sick in Feburary. I just got a new laptop, I love it! I owe my mom money for it. Adam is working up the ladder to management with Best Buy. He loves it there. He is finally making real grown up choices and makes me proud. About time, he is 24! We still live with my mom in Huber Heights. And I am still waiting for a decision from SSD, it's will be 4 years in April. Not really counting on it getting approved because I am not 50 yet. I have always said I can't wait until I turn 50 because my 40's have been bad. Now I have another reason to add.
