Melanie's Story

Life I graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in May 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in English literature. My plan was to go to law school, but instead I got married on June 21, 2002. I recieved my paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago in January 2003. I'm still leaving law school open as an option, but we'll see what happens. It gets harder to decide to go as each year passes. I've been working as a paralegal at First American Title Insurance Company in Chicago since 2003. e time, especially when it involves traveling for a closing. My husband, Rob, and I have been married for almost five years...can't believe it's been that long. The only children we have right now are our four dogs...two pugs, a basset and a shih tzu. We have the cutest niece in the world, Madeline, and another niece on the way. I like to spend time with Rob's family...not many people can say that about their in-laws...guess I'm one of the lucky ones. School I would definitely go back and do high school (and college) over again. Things are so much easier when you don't have any responsibilities.
