Melanie's Story
Since H.S. I have lived in Corvallis,Long Island,New Jersey(as a nanny-22-23),NYC,Victoria BC,Sedona,San Diego,Palm Springs,San Francisco,Mill Valley,San Raphael,Grants Pass,Kaua'i,Ithaca...After helping with my Grandpa Reid B4 he died, I moved into a 7 bedroom house in Corvallis("The Random House")which was $700/month for the whole house. From '98-'07 I had 65 housemates...crazy...lots of musicians & artists...people from many different states. I started playing guitar in '94 in Canada & writing songs.I started busking(street performing)& hitch...Expand for more
hiked a bit...hung out in SF for a bit. I've been to 3 national Rainbow Gatherings,lots of concerts & festivals,including 7 Grateful Dead shows,& I love The Oregon Country Fair(esp. at night).I'm just getting more comfortable with performing & I have gigs lined up at Bombs Away Cafe in Corvallis on June 3rd & Fireworks on June 5th.I'm thankful to have good friends in Corvallis.
