Steven's Story
I retired early a few years ago (in Colorado - a mountain home on a few acres) and am grateful I will not have to work for the rest of my life. Passionate about travel (especially SCUBA diving/tropical locales) and giving back to society (I worked on President Obama's election campaign most recently and also have spoken to inmate groups about spirituality, drug abuse and alcoholism).
I believe everything in my life can and will be taken from me eventually and I have no control over this fact . . . However, two things can never be taken from me or interferred with, unless I allow it to happen - my positive attitude and relationship with God. If you understand this (the aforementioned), then I believe you are on a spiritual path like myself.

2009 Update: In mid-April, I went to Belize for a SCUBA dive trip. In May, I was in Phoenix to visit friends. In early July, I spent 2 weeks visiting the SF bay area, where I have family and friends. Now I am back home (Mid-August) after going on a month long RV/road trip to Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Canada (Banf National Forest in British Columbia).
I had surgery for a bicep rupture and rotator cuff tendon tear on September 15th and quite frankly, it doesn't look like I will be walking on my hands (yes, I could do that . . . grin), much less anything else for the immediate future. Looking forward to the rehab and getting my "mojo" back.
Next trip is to the San Francisco bay area during the Christmas holiday.
