Melinda's Story
I've been a Detroit Public Schools teacher for 13 years. Right now I teach 4th grade ELA in Southwest Detroit.
Got married to an Englishman at 22, divorced at 26. No kids. Had a few different jobs working my way through school. 2003 was a pretty big year for me; got a Master's Degree & a house. Still living in LP.

I love to work in my garden. My mom passed away a few months ago, so I've recently transplanted some of her garden into mine.
I'm a fairly strident Democrat, love music, still hang with my closest LPHS friends, and really hope there'll be a 30th reunion as I missed the 20th.
