Melissa's Story
Since high school, I have lived in several states. I relocated from Iowa to Georgia recently, and I absolutely love it here. I have worked for the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for the last 16 years, and I continue to do so remotely from my home in Georgia. I coordinate tumor boards and QA, which involves a lot of reports and data, and I love my job. I have never been married and have no children, but my career keeps me busy. I have a two rescue dogs who are both the apples of my eye, and they keep me busy, as well. I am a published author, but I don't write much anymore. You know how life happens and adulthood demands certain priorities. I do want to get back to it, but life is just too busy right now.
I have been known as Jeanne Bradford since shortly after high school, when I began to use my preferred middle name. I haven't gone by Melissa since I was about 20.
