Melissa's Story
Life
My Spouse
Believe it or not, our relationship is a product of the internet! We met on the dating dot com website. Our first date was miniature golfing, dinner at a Japanese restaurant, and then down for a walk along the beach. We were married 5 months later in a "surprise" wedding ceremony. Brian invited 30 of our closest family and friends to dinner under the pretense that he wanted them all to be there when he proposed to me... which he did. We left the room shortly thereafter and came back 15 minutes... me in a wedding gown and Brian in a tux... with our minister and got married right then and there! l group in my senior year and loved it! That was my highlight of high school. Great people and great friends! I don't believe that many people really knew who I was in high school. I grew out of that later and I'm very outgoing now. And I apparently seem to have that type of face that says "talk to me" because where ever I go, people just start talking with me. It certainly does make life interesting.
Workplace
I have recently started my own business.... a scrapbooking store. It's called The Scrapbook Garden and it's located on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Talbert Avenue in Huntington Beach. This is a dream of mine that I've had for a while and after a lot of hard work, it's finally a reality! Stop on by and have a look. There will be lots of fun classes, crop nights, and great shopping! You can visit my website at the scrapbook garden dot com. Hope to see you soon!
