Melissa's Story
Melissa lives in Springtown, Texas on 10 acres with spouse. We have llamas, chickens and cats. Sister(mother) lives on same property, in her own house. Melissa's schools include Western Hills High School, Leonard Middle School and Western Hills Elementary. Melissa works currently at Envision Imaging, formerly Radiology Associates of North Texas (ttl 20 yrs). Bill, spouse, retired from UNT Health Science Center (25 yrs)
Melissa's favorite actor is Andrew Lincoln from the Walking Dead. Music Melissa likes includes Macklemore, KONGOS, Sammy Hagar (The Red Rocker), Jared Blake, Hinder, Elvis, Keith Urban, Nickelback, Evanescence. Movies Melissa likes include Lord of the Rings, Avengers-all related, John Wick, Last of the Mohicans, Dracula Untold, Con Air, Independence Day, The Hobbit, all Adam Sandler movies, The Kingsman, Fifty Shades, Fast and the Furious, Daybreakers, Tomb Raider, Assault on Precinct 13 (2005 film). TV shows Melissa likes include The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Hell on Wheels, Lucifer, Lethal Weapon, Hawaii 5.0, Longmire Justified, Black Sails, Game of Thrones, any Josh Gates, Finding Bigfoot, Ancient Aliens, Duck Dynasty. Lisa's favorite TV channels include DIY Network, National Geographic, Travel, Animal Planet, True TV, FX, AMC and many more.

Bill and I have 3 children (all his, grown and out of the house), 4 grandkids, 1 great grandkid on the way. He and I never had children together, his was a ready made family, so to speak. All great kids. I did help raise his youngest, Jesicia. Jes has 2 girls & a boy, Haley, Emma and Jaden. Mary is next in line, she has 2 young men, Cory (this is where the great grandchild is in play) & Jayden. 1 young lady, Casey. His eldest is William (Jr), still single, no kids. William and Mary live in Michigan, and Jes lives in Georgia.
Bill is retired from UNT (where we met in 1985), and now is a handy man for certain people only. At least he is his own boss. I'll probably never get to retire, they'll probably find me dead at my desk at work someday. I would so much rather be riding across country on the bike, or living on a beach in the caribbean, they both seem to soothe the soul....nothing to me, seems better than the wind in your hair or the ocean & sand in between your toes.
Those of you who knew me in school, I had married Jimmy Sherwood in 1982, we seperated in 1988 & were divorced in 1989. I married Bill in 1990. We lost mom in 2005.
