Melissa Newsom:  

used to have a blast when we closed the store at night and then go play Putt Putt Golf. Then, I moved onto working 2 jobs--secretarial at day and bartending at night. I was able to get a 1991-5.0 Mustang (black) by doing this. I managed a night-club in Euless, Texas. Met my ex-husband and moved to Big Spring, TX. While in Big Spring, I worked for the City in the Finance Department for 2 1/2 years. I moved to Plano, Texas and was a warrant clerk there for the city. I eventually moved back to Big Spring w/ my son and began working for Howard County Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher for 3 1/2 years. Now, I work as a Pretrial Officer for the county, which entails interviewing defendants while in county jail, posting their bond, and supervising them until the case is completed. Pretrial is a great job because I work with the different departments and people. This is where I plan to stay for now. As for the future, I plan on becoming the Department Head and teach some classes at the local Junior College!
