Melissa's Story

Life Since graduating, I have attended college but got as far as my junior year and stopped to get married and start my family. I have two sons, Robby (11) and Aaron (4), and two step-kids, Alyssa (19) and Al (15). My husband is also an Edinburg grad but from 1984, Al Perez. I, along with my husband, my sister and my dad all make up G.A.S. Enterprises, Inc., a General Contracting Company. I worked eight yea...Expand for more
rs for the Hidalgo County Adult Probation Department but left to pursue my college career. I intended to work for my dad part-time but really enjoy the construction business so I have be doing this full-time. I still intend to go back to school but I would like to wait until my son, Aaron, is a little older. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, so he requires all my attention. All has been great.
