Melissa's Story
I'm the mother of 3 wonderful children: David (21), Payton (5), Carly (3). Married for 16 years to Joey. I graduated from UNCW in 1997 in Elem. Ed. and taught 4th grade at Wallace for 5 years until we starting having babies but my real passion is photography ---not much time for it right now though.
We are self-employed - Southeastern Power Sweeping. I'm the PR in the business as well as the homemaker in the family. Joey does the hands on, the hard work, in the business....I do the hard...Expand for more
work at home. Although, he is a great father who helps ALOT! It's unreal what children do to those men:)
Most of our time is spent chasing the two smaller ones. They keep us VERY busy!! Payton just started kindergarten and Carly is in preschool. Both take dance, Payton is in piano and Carly in gymnastics. David was easy compared to these two. We are so proud of him too. He is now at Durham Tech in the fire prevention program. One day to be a PAID firefighter!
We are very blessed.
