Melissa's Story
Life
I am married with a beautiful baby girl, named Maria. She's two and the love of my life. We live in Oregon.
School
I think in school, my biggest crush was Tim Bazer. I think I liked that guy for about two years. I was really insecure, so I could barely even talk when he came around. The best teacher I ever had, was Mr. Phillips, my English teacher. He made me love literature and find my own voice in my writing.
College
I finished an Associate's Degree in Communication's at Clatsop Community College in 2003. It guess it took a while for me to get back into school, ...Expand for more

Workplace
I work as a mentor and life coach in a government program for at-risk youth. It is called Job Corps. It is definately challenging at times, but always rewarding.
Military
I served three years in the United States Navy. I was an Aviation Electrician's Mate and Plane Captain. I had some of the best and worst times of my life. I joined to travel, and got to see beautiful places like...Chicago, Illinois, Memphis, Tennesee, and Lemoore. California. Okay, so I didn't get to travel to exotic places, but it was the best job!
