Melissa's Story
Life
I have been living in New Orleans since 1979. I am the Safety Director for a large hospital here. I still have short, black hair (although, it's turning a nice shade of salt and pepper). I run regularly and still participate in sports whenever I can. I have run 3 Half-Marathons. Update November 2005: I still am in New Orleans, living in a temporary travel trailer after my house was flooded with 9 feet of water for 2.5 weeks. I will be staying here, tearing down and rebuilding in the same place as soon as the City allows me to do so.
Update February 2007: I tore down my old house and rebuilt from scratch. I moved back into my home in late January 2007.
