Melissa's Story
Life
Melissa Wadsworth became interested in public relations as an intern at UCLA, working with various Los Angeles agencies (Los Angeles School District, Catholic Church) responsible for resettling the Indo-Chinese refugees. She provided features for Indo-Chinese radio programs and newspapers designed to help the new Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian residents acclimate to their new lives.
Melissa officially began her career in 1985 as a publicist for an LA agency, where she helped to obtain media coverage for fashion and entertainment clients. Fun but a bit limiting. In 1988, she moved to the East Coast (where her sister now reside...Expand for more
d), living in Princeton and Philadelphia for twelve years. During this time she developed public relations programs for a wide spectrum of corporate clients. In 2000 she moved back to San Clemente to began a writing career in earnest. She has written three nonfiction books and the first, "Small Talk Savvy," has been published. Melissa has also become an inspirational speaker around the law of attraction and her conscious-living philosophy "What You Notice Matters!" She leads dream board seminars nationally. Living back in Southern Cal turned out to be extended vacation. She fell in love and now lives in Seattle with her husband Tracy.
