Melissa's Story
Life
After graduating from Ithaca College in 1991, I bummed around the Adirondacks and eventually ended up in Breckenridge, CO. I spent about a year and a half snowboarding, waiting tables...and having tons of fun. I moved to Marin County, CA (outside San Francisco) in 1995 and have been planted here for the past 6 years. I met a very cute dishwasher/graphic designer/mountain bike racer in Breckenridge and married him in 1997....Expand for more
I work in advertising in SF and genuinely love my job. No kids yet. I'm still having too much fun playing with my own toys. :)
2004 Revise:
Change is good, I guess. I got laid off from the job I loved in advertising right after 9/11. I now have a beautiful little boy, Jack, born in July 2003. And have recently moved to the DC area.
2008 Revise:
A new addition to our family, Eliza Peregrine Barnes, was born in October 2007.
