Melodie's Story
I ended up graduating in 1976 through correspondence school so I wouldn't have to go to school in California when we moved there just after my sophmore year.
After I left Tucson and went to California to become a car repo person in L.A. for a few years. Then I traveled to Kansas to live with my dad on a ranch where we raised and trained exotic animals for movies and commercials - it was a dream come true for me. I had always wanted to have lions and bears so it was right up my alley. We had bucking strings so I constantly tried my hand at bulls and broncs. I am not a good bull rider and finally gave up on that, but did continue barrel racing until the mid 80's. My Dad died and I left Kansas. Then lived in Europe for a few years.

uld never get the desert rat out of my system so I came back to Arizona and settled in Show Low. I moved back to Tucson for a short while and put my daughter in Catalina High. We couldn't handle the big city and moved back to Show Low.
I am now divorced. Have 2 grown children, and 4 grandchildren. Then I decided to go ahead and start over again with Noah- he is 8 years old. Life is good! I still have animals-only the run of the mill domestics these days.
Life has been trying at times but for the most part it has been a great adventure and I am anxious to see what the future holds. Last year was extremely taxing on me but thanks to my Lord I made it through.
It would be really neat to hook up with some of the people from school again.
