Life
After I got out of school I started to work full-time. I never thought about going back to school, not even to get my GED. Then one dayI got laid off and really didn't know what was going to happen next. It was 1997 and I decided it was time to get the GED. I passed it the first try without thinking about it or studying for it. We were called back to work a few weeks later, so I did go any farther than that. ing to working in a foundry pouring aluminum. One day while out with some friends we were discussing school and everyone told me is should go back and get my degree. So at the age of 31 I went back to school and got my associates degree in computer aided drafting and design. I graduate in September of 2003 with honors. It was the most important thing I ever did and achieved. Now I work for a title company hoping to get a job with an architectural firm.
