Melody's Story
I always wanted a big house, 4 kids and a station wagon.
I got married in 1977 to a guy I knew for 3 1/2 weeks. We had 2 kids when he died in 1990.
My boys grew up with me going back to college in 1992, where I got an AA degree in Business in 1994.
In 1995 I met and married Mark Kelley from Lewisville. He has 2 kids, so that made a total of 4. I got my big, my 4 kids and my station wagon.
We've been married now for almost 13 years. We've suffered many losses the last few years. My7 brother Joe died in 2001, and my little brother's wife died in 2004.
Mark lost his mother (age 93) in 2007 and his Dad (age 89)has Altzhiemers.
On the other hand I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a blood cancer) in 2001 and received a bone marrow transplant 3 years ago. I'm in full remission and doing well.

injured last year, but is home now with his beautiful wife and my 2 granddogs, He is much better but still suffers headaches from his TBI that he received.
David my youngest is 18 and will be a senior next year at Flower Mound High School. He is a typical teenage boy, knows everything and nothing!
Mark's son Kristopher (25) lives in Denver and is a manager for 24 Housr fitness up there and Kristina (29) floats around and waitresses at "The Men's Club" in Dallas. Beats the heck out of dancing, which is what she used to do!!!! She's always been a reall handful.

As of 3:34am September 4, 2009, Mark & I have become grandparents to a beautiful little girl. Her daddy Kristopher & mommy Elle are coning home today and they all live in Seattle. MiMi will be there in Ocotber to be sure and spoil her!
