Melody's Story

It was a fog! I was a ¿stoner¿ in high school. I did not go back to school in the fall of 1972 because my daughter was born in January of 1973. I ¿GED¿d¿ out of high school in late 1972 and and raised my daughter. I moved to San Francisco and got an AS degree in 1977. I worked for Eastman Kodak from 1977 to 1986, ran my own print shop from 1985 to 1989 and then the world crumbled when a robber armed with an axe attacked my daughter and me in our print shop. a substance or alcohol abuser as an adult, had enough of that in high school! I guess that is what makes high school so memorable: Dumb things I did in one short year affected my entire life. Oh well¿ My daughter actually resents having been born to a teenager, while I feel like I focused my entire adult life and part of my childhood to her. Oh well¿ Guess what? We are both right, I am not perfect, I never will be, and life is short and then you die so I will continue to have fun and stay in shape while it lasts.
