Melody's Story
Life
I am currently living in Mill Creek with my husband of three years, Scott Todd. We have yet to expand the family, but have two cats, Leo and Lucy. They definately keep us active! I am working as the Office Manager for Zumiez Home Office located in Everett, near Boeing. I have been with Zumiez since 2001 and love it! Zumiez is growing rappidly and it's awesome! I was lucky enough to enter the company before it blew up, so I have had the privilage of gaining a great relationship with the companies top dogs. I've been involved with our mall events and manager retreats and it's very exciting and adventurous!
Scott is a sales lead for Klein Honda in Everett, which has lead to us being quite the Honda family....even our parents have joined!! So, with our retail deals, he gets good deals on cars, I get good deals on clothes. It's a great trade!!
Scott and I are hoping to travel a bit before we start our family, but as of now, we are definately enjoying life and each other's company.

Currently (2004) I am finishing my AA at Edmonds Community College. After taking a 3 year break for marriage and career I decided it was time to head back and hit the books. I only have about 3 quarters left. I did most of my college at Skagit Valley in OH. I am also taking a loo...Expand for more
k into becoming a Bridal/Wedding Consultant for a side job for when I begin my family with my husband Scott in about 2 years or so. It will be a great stay at home job so I can be with my family. Although I love my current job, my family comes first!

I have been with the Zumiez Corporate Office since August of 2001. It was a huge change from working 4 years in an Engineering and Surveying firm in Oak Harbor. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Zumiez as the Office Manager. I have had the privilege of being involved in retreats, store events, concerts and corporate company events, as well as conversing with pro skate or snow riders, celebrities and well known company head honchos! I work closely with our buying team and with the upper management and assist in decision making for store product. I have also had the opportunity to be on signage for our stores as well as doing fittings for our private labels. I have gained knowledge of most aspects of the company which will assist in my gradual movement toward upper management. As of this year (2004) the store locations have doubled since 2001 when I joined the team. This gradual process has taken our stores booming across the US. It's very exciting and I'm glad I can say that I'm a part of it!
