Meloine's Story
About a year after High School I met a guy at Joanne (Rogers) Laben's wedding and we got married in 1971 and divorced in 1974 (I think). I worked for the DeKalb Co Sheriff's office for about three years and moved to Virginia with Carol Schaack from Genoa. We got jobs and lived there for about four years. I worked for the Fairfax County Police while living out there. I moved back to Illinois in 1979 to a lake outside of Galesburg to help friends Cathy (Cliff) Kaesser ...Expand for more
& husband, Mitch Kaesser with the sale of the lots (I worked the office) around the lake. I met another man through them and married him in 1981. We moved to Florida and had two sons. My sons are grown now and I'm once again divorced. I worked for the Osceola Co Sheriff's office for 5 years and now live in Gainesville working for the Alachua County Sheriff's office (8 yrs now). I love Florida but I wish I had my friends from home here with me.....miss ya'll terribly!
