Melvin's Story
After graduating from Courter with my training in electronics, I went to work at GE Evendale and started the Cincinnati Co-Operative School of Technology (AKA Cincinnati State) in the fall of 1971. I graduated from Cincinnati state in 1973.
I married in 1972 (Deborah Jackson, Courter class of 1970) and had my first child in 1976, there were more to follow.
I have lived in Rochester, NY., the Washington DC area ...Expand for more
and, Boston Mass. I have been employed in the electronics field all my adult life except for stints in the field of Restaurant Management.
In 1994, I started full time single parenting role for my #2 wife's children (ages 12, 7 and, 4).
In 2008, my plans to enjoy an "Empty Nest" were put on hold when my 11 y/o and his little brother from my #3 wife were placed in my home by the court.
