Mercy's Story

Life Well, lets start here. My life began in Cudahy (Hills), CA. I attended Elizabeth St. School from, kindergarden (1976) thru 6th grade (1983). (The years, I believe are accurately calculated. If they are not, would someone please correct me.) Anyway, these were some of my best years in life. You know what I'm talking about, "THE CARE FREE YEARS". I must add that there are a few questions that have gone unanswered for many years. Like, WHO THE HELL WERE THE BOYS THAT WOULD CHASE MY SISTER AND ME HOME EVERYDAY AFTER SCHOOL? AND, WHY?! I remember always looking out of my 1st grade class and seeing these boys hiding behind the closet that held the balls, hoops, and jump ropes. I always knew I would have to run. This went on until I was in the 4th or 5th grade. All I want to know is why they did this and who are they now? If you can help solve this mystery, please email me. My junior high years were okay. This was a nice time but nothing spectacular. I had to part from alot of my elementary friends to attended South Gate Junior High because of how the district was divided. In other words, I lived on the wrong side of the street. Hey, Mario Villanueva, if you are reading this, are you still jealous? (lol) Hey, were is Jose Castellanos? Well, then came Bell High were I was in tall flags and had many friends. Unfortunately, I got knocked up and decided to leave. My daughter, Vanessa is now 17 going on 18 and ready to graduate from High School. I don't regret what happened and I would do it all over again, just not with the same guy. (lol) I was also very fortunate to have graduated from High School even though I had a baby. When I left Bell, I attended Bassett High in La Puente where I attened by senior graduation. ( This info if for those that thought differently.) I am sorry to inform all you Bell grad...Expand for more
s that Bassett was 100% a better school than Bell. I'm also sorry I didn't attend it as soon as I had moved to that area. Anyway, I still think of all the good friends and memories I had at Bell. Just to name a few or the ones I was closest too, Luis, Omar, Art, Tony, Ronold, (You guys were the greatest) Gloria, Rocio (Bobby), (you guys were like sisters to me.) Carmen & Astrid, (my best friends) Javier ( I will never forget the pendant you gave me as a gift.) Oh, the friends in French class, Carlos, Julie, Manuel, and so many more. If your name is not listed it's because I don't remember the names but I will never forget the faces. Hope everyone has achieved all they've ever wanted or at least can say they are happy with what they have. Now, I am 34 like most of you and married with a family. I married my senior sweetheart from Bassett High. Like all marriages we've had our ups and downs but must say that now that he's returned from Iraq everything is moving up. They say that war can change a person so, I'll have to wait and see. We have 2 boys from the marriage and Vanessa my daughter. My husband is currently a Corrections Officer and I am a Paralegal. We own our home in Beaumont, Calif. And it is fair to say," I think we're going to make it." Both my husband and I are very eager to reach for more stars, he is currently working on getting on SWAT and I think that in about 2 years I will go back to school to work on my Law degree. Well, thank you to all that have read about my short life. Now, let me know what is happening in yours. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me or would like to get to know me. Sincerely, Mercy P.S. If you have read this please add your name to "Visitor's Names". I would like to know who maybe trying to get in touch with me. Thank you!
