Life
I moved to Cornelius, North Carolina (on Lake Norman) from Orange County, California 7 years ago. It has always been my dream to live on this golf course and lake and spend the second half of my life boating and playing golf. I am getting to realize that dream, even though major back surgery, shoulder and neck surgery put things on hold a bit! My boys are grown, and a blessing. Even though I have a small technical support company, I spend a lot of my free time raising money for charity. Sitting on two Foundation boards to give back, is such a healer to my heart! Nothing has been more rewarding, except the birth of my children. Philip is now 27, 6'3 and engaged to be married. He graduated 3 years ago from UNC, and has a wonderful job right here in Charlotte! ersity. He is my miracle child as he was hit with a deadly cancer in 2004, and became the first survivor in December 2005. We are so blessed, as miracles do happen. Nothing is harder than being a parent and watching your beautiful child go through such horrible pain. It changed my life forever. After a year and a half of treatment, Make A Wish, and surviving...I thank the Lord every day! He just hit 6'5" tall. and has an incredible job in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a true inspiration to all of us on life and living! We enjoy fishing, dirt bike riding, golf and boating together.
We have two Maltese doggies, who are adorable. Funny how they become your childrent expecially when the kids leave home! If you ever get to the North Carolina area, please look me up...I have plenty of room and would love to reminisce about old times!
