Life
I was married for 15 or so years, divorced (amicably), no kids. I was a programming (big blue) consultant for 20+ years (mostly on the east coast, when I wasn't in Texas) and left to create my own contract programming company. Got caught in the ENRON crunch(ENRON was not only an investment, but a customer) and lost a lot...... OH WELL......adopted a 12 year old from a dysfunctional family and became a MOM.....BEST THING I EVER DID....HE'S A GREAT HUMA...Expand for more
N AND HAS TREMENDOUS INNER STRENGTH AND POWER ....I am in a committed relationship with a wonderful man (since 80's), went back to school, and am now a counselor for adolescents at risk. Life has taught me a lot, made a lot of mistakes (big and little), been through cancer, heart troube and emotional turmoil out the ears, but have survived and love my life and the results of all of it....wouldn't trade the lessons learned for anything....I'm still learning.
