Merri's Story
Merri is origianllyfrom Tuscaloosa, Alabama. One of her highs schools included Bartlett High School. She obtained her BS in Management from Virginia State University and her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. In July 2017, Merri began in her current position as Director of Assessment for Fitchburg State University where her focus is developing a culture of assessment. Merri has a passion for higher education and ensuring that students receive a quality education. lege of Business and Entrepreneurship at Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS.. Previously she was the Executive Director for Assessment and Accreditation in the Reginald F. Lewis College of Business at Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA.. Merri is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for the AACSB. Merri is a Rotarian and is committed to her community.
She is the mother of one grown son, Anthony. She will soon have a new daughter-in-law!
