Merrilee's Story
Life
I graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield Missouri in 1969 and taught in private christian schools in CT and FL. In 1988 I quit teaching and started working at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for Medicare. I'm still there and now looking forward to retirement. I've been married for 26 years and have 1 daughter - Stephanie - she'll be 23 in December. She graduated from the University of North Florida and is now a Case Manager for Jacksonville Mental Health. Florida since 1975. My husband was in the Navy and we were stationed in Mayport for four years. We enjoyed it here and decided to make this our home. I haven't been back to Staten Island much since 1972 except to see my folks. They recently moved to Florida so I guess now my visits will be even fewer. I just lost my mother last month (August 2000) which has opened up communication with family members I haven't heard from in many years. One of them told me about this website.
