Life I have been retired for two + years from the state Department of Mental Health. For the past ten years, I also have been buying and selling antiques and stuff. I intended to do this full-time after retiring, but part-time has been all I've managed, due to health problems. My husband, Joe, retired from being a vocational school administrator this past June. He is helping his older brother with several farms in central Missouri and is also remodeling our house (it really needs it). Our son Tom is a first year law student in San Francisco and sells used books on the internet. He is married to Amelia, who grew up in Berkeley, where they now live and who was the one who wanted to go to law school and recently dropped out to learn to be a chef. Our daughter Sarah lives in St. Louis with her dog and current boyfriend. She sells gently used plus size women's as well as children's clothing on EBay.
