Jeff's Story
OK, a little about me since graduation in 1974. As you can see by my pictures I fly jets for a living, Airtran Airways.
I live in Charlotte, NC and have since 1985. I left LA back in 1979 when I moved to Miami, Fla to get away from LA and start an aviation career. I lived in Miami until 1981 when I moved to Raleigh North Carolina where my father lived. In 1981 I started my airline career as a customer service agent with Piedmont Airlines there. I met my wife Kathy in Raleigh. We moved to Houston Texas with Piedmont on a transfer and our daughter Brittany was born there in 1984. In 1985 we moved back to Charlotte where we have lived since. r Piedmont until 1986. In late 1986 I started buying and selling airplanes. I bought and sold airplanes until 1998 then decided to go fly for the airlines, my life long dream. I have been employed by Airtran Airways as a pilot since April 2001.
Thats pretty much it. I like nice cars and have a beautiful classic speed boat which keeps me busy in the summer. Its loads of fun. When I am not flying jets I am on the boat out in the sun or playing with my cars. I am now 52, very young at heart, and our daughter Brittany is now 24. She is also a graduate of the University of North Carolina back in 2007. (Glad one of us got a degree and is smart!) :-)
