Michael's Story
After graduation, briefly went to SCSC and Greater New Haven State Tech. Moved back to Panama City, Florida in 1979 then joined the Navy in 1980. I also got married in 1980 and we had our first of three children. After basic training in Orlando, I was stationed in Jacksonville from 1981 to 1986. I got transferred to Pensacola in 1986 then to Norfolk in 1988. Had knee problems and was transferred back to Pensacola where I eventually medically discharged in 1991 as a SM1/E-6.
After getting out of the service, I started my own D.J. & Karaoke business and ran it for seven years and coached little league football and T-ball for 5 years. Got divorced in 2000.

I eventually was classified as disabled by Social Security and am a 90% disabled Vet. Last day of a real job was September 15, 2004.
I have pretty much stayed in Pensacola since 1986. I was in a Mardi Gras Krewe from 2005 to 2008 and was voted in as King for the last year. After that Krewe, my girlfriend and I started up another Krewe and we were voted in as King & Queen fo the first year in 2009.
Most of my time now is spent building and working on computers as a hobby and being a bit of a gamer since 2006 on a World War II game called "Aces High II". I am known there as 1MADDOG1. I travel to Dayton, Ohio each July and Dallas, Texas in October of each year to conferences for the game.
I am pretty much single now and enjoying life as each day brings it. So, this is the short version of my story. I look forward to hearing from "Y'all".
