Michael's Story
After graduation I worked at Dalgetty Foods in Puyallup and attended Green River Community college for a couple of years then went into the Air Force for 4 years including training in San Antonio, TX and Biloxi, MS. Then 3 years in Omaha, Ne. After the Air Force I worked at a Cannery and sawmill in Centralia, an aluminum smelter in Vancouver and then finally got a job in Bremerton at the Naval shipyard. a 1 year assignment supporting a forward deployed air craft carrier in Yokosuka, Japan. This requires me to travel frequently between Port Orchard and Japan. (I just finished a 5 week trip) My wife and I will be in Yokosuka for 4 months early next year. Susan and I married in Puyallup in 2003 and I have a step-daughter Casey getting her masters in teaching at WSU. I still enjoy Elk hunting trips to Yakima with my Dad and uncle every year and travel. Susan and I have been to europe three times and are busy planning our next trip.
