Ingrid's Story
I've been happily married for 29 years to a wonderful man I met on the 605 fwy, in 1979. Mike is a Paramedic Engineer for the Pasadena Fire Department. We have 5 wonderful kids ages 25 to 19. One boy and four girls including twins!
We bought our first house in Arcadia, Ca. Then found a home in Glendora, Ca Where we have lived for 20 yrs. We love the small city and the wonderful schools.(Bill Brod lives around the corner from me)
I am very proud to say that I am a stay at home mom, but thats not all. we own and care for about 100 animals! I am an animal breeder, mostly African Grey parrots, golden retriever puppies and lion head rabbits. I own different types of fish, turtles,reptiles and birds. I host schools in the area to come and see ...Expand for more
the animals. They have named us "The Batterson Farm" We also own a apartment building in Monrovia, Ca. I handle everything from gardening to interviewing new tenents. I feel very lucky to be able to stay home and be there for my family.
The #1 place we love to getaway to, is our second home in Parker Arizona, on the Colorado River. For the last 25 years we have really enjoyed leaving the world behind (even if it's just for a few days) and spend time together with family and friends.
