Thistlemania:  Preparing this artichoke for transplant -- to give it more room and some companions.  Now abt 2 metres tall.  Ten months ago was a seedling!!

Grabbing lunch outside at the Big Island Brewhaus in Kamuela, just before the Dirty Cello concert.  The gent there is wearing a Denver Broncos hat.  He gets up to leave, passes me, I say calmly "go Broncos."  10 feet behind
