ians behind us, the Puget sound almost in your front yard, the Cascade mountians in the far distant so we can take the family hiking, sledding, eagle watching, salmon fishing, crabbing what ever. My favorite is swinging in my front yard reading a good book. A friend of mine is a famous author so I read her books and give her my opinions and we play Santa and Ms. Clause for her and other families during the holidays. We've also lived in Calif and Texas for several years but Seattle, Wa is the best by far. Canada isn't to far to go and there are island parks all over. The ferry rides can be a hoot but getting expensive just like the new bridge we get to pay tolls to cross so now it's going to cost us to get around the water either way soon. I use to be able to say I lived in the woods but now they are going going gone so we have houses around us where we use to have bears, deer and assorted creatures.. Progress stinks some times. Humm today's a sunny day so I'm going to go set in my swing and enjoy clean air and the birds....
