Michael's Story
50 years ago, when we graduated from LHS, we were so young, attempting to find ourselves, catch a vision for where we might be called to serve. College was a refining of that search for me. 2 1/2 years at SDSM&T in Rapid City as a Civil Eng. major led me to change everything and start over in music at UNC in Greeley, Colorado. I retired in May of 2017 after 32 years of both high school and college teaching as a choir director, taking my inspiration from Don Peterson and Alan Stange at Lincoln. n all my life and 24 years as a church choir director continues in retirement. I met Becky in Greeley, CO and the picture on my profile was Christmas 2016 with our four children, their spouses and three new grandbabies. We find ourselves in Greenville, PA, in far western Pennsylvania enjoying our home in the woods, and now travel east to visit our two youngest boys and to Montana to visit our oldest two. Life only gets better. I look forward to our reunion in three weeks, to reconnect with you and hear your stories and dreams.
