Michael's Story
Life
My wife Tara and I have three wonderful grown girls. Courtney the youngest, graduated FSU 2006,received her Masters there in 2010. GO NOLES!
Lauren the middle one, completed undergraduate work at UCF, her Masters at UNC Wilmington, then her doctorate at UCF, 2011. GO KNIGHTS!
Our oldest, Jennifer, received her BA at UF, graduated first in her class for her JD at Stetson Law, and earned her LLM in graduate Tax Law at UF!. GO GATORS!
I started my own business in 1986, sold it to TransAmerica in 1997, retired from there in 2002, and now am an unemployed bum :) We spend our Summers at the L...Expand for more
inville Ridge Country Club in the North Carolina mountains where I attempt to play golf, and our Winters in Marathon, Florida, in the wonderful Florida Keys.
I play around at golf, but my passion since 1972 has been scuba diving. In fact, as a golfer, I am truly an excellent scuba diver, with a NAUI Instructor rating. I enjoy teaching family and friends how to dive.
We do a lot of traveling in between frustrating golf rounds, and have been underwater in most all of the Caribbean islands, and in the Pacific in Australia, the Coral Sea, Fiji, Tahiti, Papua New Guniea, Thailand, and Indonesia.
