Michael's Story
In August of 68 I started serving as a missionary for the LDS church for two years in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Kansas. When I was released I returned home for about 4 months untill I was drafted into the army. I then spent two years as an infantryman, and tank driver. Upon my discharge from the service I once again came back to Sebastopol.
It was at this time I met the lady that would become my wife. Her name was Beth Shafer and she was from the state of Conn. We dated for a year and then were married in the Oakland Temple.

lathers union out of San Fransico and started working in the city on high rise construction. After 15 years we decided to move to Boise Idaho and start a stucco business with my brother.
We have two sons and one daughter. Our oldest son works for BSU with computers. He is also working towards his masters. He is married with 3 daughters.Our daughter is married with 4 sons and 1 daughter. Our youngest son is 29 and as of now not married. He ownes his own stucco company and I work for him at times. He has also started taking classes at Boise State.
