Michael's Story
July 2013 Membership established (limited priority focus)
Well, here we are. Almost 45 years since we graced the halls of Central Sr., on Indiana. The trips that I have made back to KC over the years has show a much changed neighborhood. Thankfully, some of the elders knew to stay put and not abandon the inner city. It was totally shocking to hear about some "new residential areas".
Since so many of you have visited my page, I thought I should have some updated information. Hopefully, this will start a tread where there is actually some information on the page, or heaven forbid a picture from then and now. We all have a story, a 60 something year old face, some generic information, just to let the rest of us know if we have more in common today than in the previous 45 years.
Some members on this site have been quite non-judgmental and interested in sharing "TODAY", with on a tinge of the clicks of yesteryear, both positive and misunderstood. We have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. We live on. Many people, a lot younger than us, have crossed over without growing to be our age.
1969 graduate has been in many of my conversations lately. You are that class and I would like to know more about you.
So, let's get this Classmates site be the vehicle to connect and maybe establish a new friendship or two.
December 2008 - December 2012
After the economy turned bad, Houston opportunities were plentiful. Settled in with TXU Energy. Selling electricity
contracts to businesses that already had their lights on. A nice challenge.

ld a business with a Spanish lady from Barcelona. The success was marginal so I took a position at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Monitoring the rowdies
and ensuring the safety of the guest and business owner compliance with noise levels. What a party, from 7p - 3a, discount golf at championship courses, and some respect from the Redneck Riviera vacationers.
Left Cali in June 2006.
Wishing you all the best. As for my awake/dream state, Tinsel town has been extremely tough. From smaller markets, the Independent film area is worthy of consideration for migration into the Hollywood machine. However, that is not the case. Technology is the backup plan. Still hopeful that I will play a part in the successful journey of the generation of my son.
Can't beat the weather in Southern California. Otherwise, I have got to find a place to settle down. From the Jet set life in the late 70's, to ski Instructing, then married to a career woman, mister mom time, the Northeast corridor transportation management, digital photojournalism, thinking of growing up, about now.
Then again, it is quickly approaching 2006 almost and I am still ME....
Now is November 2006 find me on the Emerald Coast of Florida...preparing for the Kansas City Thanksgiving reunion.
Golf is great. The beaches are about 10 minutes away. The companionship is exceptional. Motivational speaking is paying the bills. Maybe a collection of works called "Delusion of All of That, journey of a Restless Spirit" will finally be completed. Just so you won't think I am ignoring you, I amt no a member. Always a pleasure to see any of you are still alive and well.
