Michael's Story
Life
I moved out of Cedar Grove in 1986. Lived in a couple other places in NJ and have been living in Phoenix since 2002. I really got tired of the cold weather, high taxes and housing costs back there. For those that knew me in high school, flying was something that I had wanted to do since I was 10 years old and it became a reality right after leaving high school. I was a corporate pilot for a while, flew for the government for 5 years and finally got a job with Eastern Airlines during the 80's. went back to school and learned computer networking. I got into the IT field and worked as an IT Manager with Prudential for 10 years. I transferred to Phoenix with them to manage the voice and data infrastructure for 2 large buildings in Scottsdale and in 4 other cities and then had my position outsourced in 2005. I now work for JPMorgan Chase and also began doing some real estate investing on the side. During the 90's I got married (not to someone from town), divorced and am now single again and living in a great area of the country. Unfortunately I never had any children of my own but my girlfriend has 3 young kids so I guess I'm making up for it now.
