well after high school, I went to FDU,and since I was not a good student{academically} I went to night school, where tuition was $32. a credit. I majored in Business adm. but hated it,all I wanted to do was play my guitar and go to clubs, and dance,and meet someone who would blow me away. Plus I failed accounting,probably the only one in my class.. So I eventually went to day classes full time. I got to be good friends with Dan Juster,we used to play together since 5th grade. He got me interested in God, and since I was Jewish I was always interested in Jesus Christ, but could not jump that hurdle, and when Dan went off to college,we both ended up majoring in Philosophy,which earned me a B.A. and proof that though I failed accounting I could do well intellectually in a pretty tough and abstruse area of study,of course what could I do with philosophy,I wrote alot of poetry then and some stuff presently,...and after some deliberation Got my degree, almost, in Psychology,but in typical fashion fulfilled all my course work toward an M.A. but couldnt pass my comprehensives bec ause of my bugboo, statistics. I di various counseling jobs, working for women against rape, as both a counselor and public speaker,which was totally electric...I went from almost inchorent babbling to a poised and articulate speaker, and overcame this fear, of standing in front of a whole grandstand of highschool kids,who thought,nothing of what I was saying, and did not pay attention ,till I really took off and started making up stories and generally having a great time myself, and still being informative. I worked different counseling jobs in mental centers, Bergen Pines and then last was a clinical case mgr. with schizophrenics..."One flew east and one flew west, and one flew over the cookoo's nest........then I became a massage therapist, which I still do but...Expand for more
