Michael's Story
Hey everyone, Just a little something about myself to try to let you know what I have been doing since High School. I think I went to work the day after graduation and haven't stopped. I married in 1982 and started a family. I now have 4 children, ages as of this date 5/01/2009, Mike= 26; Jon= 23; Lauren= 21; and Anthony= 19. I also have two Grandchildren, Andre will be 4 this july and Brianna will be 3 in November. I divorced my 1st wife after 11 years, we just couldn't live together, but now we are best friends. I remarried in 2000. That didn't work out too well, Divorced in 2006. I have worked in the manufacturing industry all my career life. I have been everything from a machinist to a Designer/Programer. Renewable energy industry. I have been Hiking all throughout Missouri. I have also Hiked in Alaska, Washington State, and Connetticut. I enjoy camping, floating, and many other outdoor activities. I also enjoy a trip to Chicago once in a while. I volunteer alot, not as much as I used to though, (hate to say it but age is creeping up on me). I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and have helped build 5 houses, becoming a group leader before hanging up my hammer. Had a heart attack at 47 and that has really slowed me down alot, I still think I am recovering from that. I just work at a slow pace than before.
